Parent-Child Creative Workshop
Release and Waiver of Liability
1. Mandatory Parental Participation & Supervision
Scenttok craft cafe is a collaborative creative space. All activities are designed as joint projects between the guardian and the child.
- Active Involvement: Guardians are required to remain seated with their child and actively participate in the crafting process at all times.
- No Drop-off Policy:This is NOT a childcare or “drop-off” service. Guardians may not leave the premises or remain in the waiting area while the child is in the crafting zone.
2. Assumption of Risk
I understand that the crafting activities involve the use of tools and materials that carry inherent risks, including but not limited to:
- High-temperature tools (e.g., hot glue guns).
- Sharp objects (e.g., scissors, carving tools, needles).
- Small parts that may pose a choking hazard.
- Chemicals or adhesives (e.g., specialized glues, paints, resins).
I voluntarily assume all risks associated with the use of these materials for both myself and the child under my care.
3. Safety Compliance
I agree to follow all safety instructions provided by the staff. As the primary supervisor of the child, I take full responsibility for ensuring the child uses the tools and materials correctly and safely as instructed.
4. Waiver and Release
In consideration of being allowed to participate, I hereby release, waive, and discharge ScentTok, its owners, and employees from any and all liability, claims, or demands for personal injury, property damage, or loss arising out of or related to our participation in the workshop, except in cases of gross negligence by the establishment.
5. Medical & Allergy Disclosure
I confirm that the child does not have any allergies (e.g., latex, specific dyes, or scents) or medical conditions that would make participation unsafe. If such conditions exist, I have informed the staff prior to starting.
